Billing Terms
Effective November 8, 2026 · Version billing-2026-11-08-mp
What these cover
Paid plans for Flock apps are offered by Flock Capital, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company with its principal place of business in Seattle, Washington through Flock ID. The payment is made to Link, Stripe's reseller, which is the merchant of record for it: Link charges you, collects and pays the sales tax, VAT or GST due, sends your receipts and invoices, and handles questions about the payment itself. Your card statement shows “LINK.COM*”. Flock provides the apps and is responsible for them. These terms add to the Terms of Service; Link's own terms for the purchase are shown at checkout.
Where we sell
For now, paid plans aren't available to billing addresses in the European Union or the United Kingdom, or in countries under comprehensive sanctions (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia and Belarus); Stripe also doesn't offer them in some places (currently China, Kosovo, Ascension Island and Tristan da Cunha). Everywhere else, including Norway, Switzerland and Australia, they are. We go by your billing address, not where you happen to be. Your Flock ID account and anything free work everywhere sanctions allow.
If a payment from a billing address in those regions gets through anyway, we cancel the subscription straight away, refund the payment in full, and email you.
Plans and prices
| App | Plan | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Causerie | Causerie | $12.00 per month or $120.00 per year | No trial |
| Reflet | Subscription | $50.00 per year | By invitation only for now |
Prices exclude tax, which is added at checkout where it applies. Checkout may show the price converted to your local currency; you pay the amount shown there.
Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (each month or each year, as you chose) and the saved payment method is charged the then-current price on the renewal date, until you cancel. Before each yearly renewal, Link emails you with the date and amount. If a plan has a free trial, you aren’t charged until the trial ends; you get an email before that happens, and cancelling during the trial costs nothing.
Cancelling
Cancel any time online in Account → Billing, in a few clicks; the link is in every billing email. Cancelling stops the next renewal: you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and aren't charged again. You can also cancel from your Link account at link.com.
Price changes
We'll email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription, and it applies from your first renewal after that notice. If you don't want to pay the new price, cancel before that renewal.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, you keep access while Stripe retries the payment for up to 14 days, and we let you know so you can update your card. If it still fails after that, the subscription is cancelled.
Refunds
We don't refund partial periods: when you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you aren't charged again. We refund where the law requires it, and otherwise at our discretion (for example, if something went wrong on our side).
Link may also refund a payment within 60 days of purchase in some cases, and applies the cooling-off period your country’s law gives you, where it does. A full refund ends the subscription it paid for straight away, and so does opening a payment dispute or chargeback; access to what the subscription unlocked stops then. A partial refund doesn't end the subscription.
Allowances
Where a plan includes an allowance for each period (for example, usage per month), unused allowance doesn't carry over to the next period.
Taxes
Link, as merchant of record, calculates the sales tax, VAT or GST due from your billing address, shows it before you pay, and pays it to the tax authorities. Receipts and invoices come from Link by email; they're also in Account → Billing.
Questions
Email contact@flock.holdings about anything to do with billing. For a question about a payment itself (a charge, a receipt, a refund), you can also contact Link support at support.link.com.
